Lebanon-based Nariman Cultural Salon Hosts Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in A Lecture on ‘Role of Women and AI’

TRIPOLI – The Nariman Cultural Salon in the Cultural Association of Tripoli has hosted HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), to lecture on the ‘Role of Women and Artificial Intelligence (AI): Opportunities and Challenges’, in the presence of a host of parliamentarians, government officials, intellectuals, writers, businessmen, religious leaders, diplomats, and social and media representatives.

At the start of the session both the Lebanese and the Palestinian national anthems were played. Afterwards the audience stood a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs in Palestine and Lebanon who were killed by the Zionist attacks in Gaza and southern Lebanon.

The event was inaugurated with a speech by the Salon president, Dr. Nariman Al-Jamal, saying: “They said a lot about Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, a great man, the maker of generations and the pioneer of the knowledge revolution, a self-made man, a very important personality who has the most beautiful human and professional qualities, a person who is an examplel of courage, boldness and humility, a symbol of integrity and success and an inspirational personality."

Speaking about Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, she added, "I and millions of people seek to get to know him closely, we consider him the best role model for leadership in a time when good men and politicians are scarce”. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, she added, dedicated his life to knowledge and education where he started his career journey from the boot of his car - which served as his office at that time - and expanded his businesses to reach the world through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global, which became a global organization today.

“Terms of impossibility, failure, or laziness don’t exist in Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s dictionary. He works with love and gives with nobility, believes in youth and their energies, and therefore, he firmly focuses on empowering and qualifying them’, Dr. Al-Jamal continued.

She pointed out that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh will shortly open a factory for manufacturing and producing electronic devices in the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University. 
Dr. Al-Jamal also referred to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s inspirational success story and how he served the Arabs and the West, and became a global leader, expressing her gratitude for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s participation in the session. 

She further called on Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh to devote more attention and support to the North of Lebanon, particularly to the city of Tripoli, in the same way as  he  supported  projects in the south, including the electronic devices factory and cooperation agreements extended from Beirut to the city of Tyre in the South.
At the end of the lecture, Dr. Al-Jamal concluded by expressing the aspirations of the people of Tripoli to cooperate with TAG.Global in various fields. This is to benefit from the wide expertise TAG.Global is acknowledged for globally. 

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his thanks and gratitude for the invitation to Tripoli, stating that this city has a special place in his heart, where he found nothing but love, respect and generous hospitality.

On the other hand, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh announced that Gaza has triumphed over the Zionist enemy, affirming that whoever believes otherwise is a delusional, commending the efforts made by the resistance fighters and the struggle against the occupation to achieve independence. Throughout history, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated no occupation has ended through negotiations, but rather by struggle and sacrifices.
Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the role of knowledge and innovation in this struggle, calling on young people to embrace and excel in the world of digital learning, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. 

In the end, Dr. Al- Jamal presented an honoring shield to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, following a discussion where he answered questions relating to a wide-ranging political, economic, and social questions of the attendees.
