Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Participates in the National Anti-Narcotics Conference

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has participated in the National Anti-Narcotics Conference, organized under the patronage of the Anti-Narcotics Department Director, Colonel Hassan Al-Qudah, in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), a member of TAG.Global, and the National Forum for Awareness and Development. 

In his statement to the conference Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out that the scourge of drugs and drug addiction threatens the lives of the youth, affirming the necessity to join hands to combat the spread of this dangerous social evil. 

He further called for launching a “Never Try It” campaign, outlining its objectives in raising youth awareness about the dangers of falling victim to this plague, pointing out that the ‘initial use’ is the first step taken by drug traffickers to addiction.

For his part, Col. Al-Qudah commended  Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh’s suggestion for launching this campaign, emphasizing that curiosity and social pressures were the main factors that led many individuals to try it and die of drug overdose.

At the end of the Conference, Col. Al-Qudah was honored by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and Dr. Mohammed Al-Badour, president of the National Forum for Awareness and Development, in recognition of his outstanding efforts in the fight against drugs and his dedication to protecting society and youth from the spread of drug abuse.
