Abu-Ghazaleh receives the Ambassador of South Africa
AMMAN - The Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global, H. E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, has received the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Her Excellency Tselane Mokuena, at his office where they discussed aspects of cooperation and the role of the group in strengthening Jordanian-South African relations through the presence of the group's most important offices in the Republic of South Africa.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh presented the Ambassador with an honorary Shield in recognition of her and her country's efforts in serving humanity and the issues of the Arab nation, as well as a collection of his writings.
He praised the stances of the Republic of South Africa in support of the rights of the Palestinian people who are being subjected to genocide by the Zionist occupation forces, praising the decision of South Africa to go to the International Court of Justice to stop that genocide and hold the leaders of the occupation accountable for it.
Abu Ghazaleh said that South Africa's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause is highly appreciated by Arabs, Palestinians and all the victims of the Israeli occupation, pointing out that this support confirms South Africa's commitment to establishing justice all over the world, especially for the peoples suffering from the apartheid regimes on which the Zionist entity is based.
Abu-Ghazaleh pointed to South Africa's long struggles against apartheid, and how all the Western countries conspired with the apartheid regime, before the South African people were able to overthrow it and force the west to condemn it, pointing out that the Palestinians are facing the same Western conspiracy against them today.
Abu-Ghazaleh reiterated his thanks and appreciation for the positions of South Africa which are always aligned with the values of humanity, justice, and freedom.
For her part, Ambassador Mokuena expressed her thanks and appreciation to Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for the warm reception and what he is doing to support the Palestinian cause. Ambassador Mokuena condemned the genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, calling on the countries of the world to take action to stop that genocide.
The Ambassador reiterated the decision reached by the International Court of Justice that the State of Israel must do all in its power to prevent and punish acts of genocide.
The ICJ further ordered that Israel must ensure the unhindered provision of basic services and humanitarian assistance including food, water, fuel, shelter, clothing, hygiene, sanitation requirements and medical supplies, also increase the capacity and number of land crossing points and keep them open.
