AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his office a delegation from the American-based Westcliff University, represented by Dr. Marko Nino and Dr. George Al Sayegh, in addition to Dr. Farouq Majdalawi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Majdalawi University Services (MUS), to discuss means of developing and strengthening the existing cooperation between the University and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-GDU), a member of TAG.Global.

The three parties do already cooperate in serving a large number of students who are willing to digitally study at the Westcliff  University in one of its various disciplines including; PhD programs in Business Administration and Education and the Master's program in Business Administration.

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his great devotion to learning and digital education, pointing out that this tendency stems from the fact that education is a basic right for everyone, especially for those who are unable to afford travel expenses. He continued by stressing the need to effectively plan for a better future for knowledge seekers in all countries worldwide, and most particularly in the Global South.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further stated that technological evolution, artificial intelligence (AI) and modern means of communication effectively contributed to the dissemination of digital learning that serves individuals and societies by enabling learning opportunities for all.

For their part, Drs. Nino and Al Sayegh expressed their pride in cooperating with TAG-GDU which is known for its global connections and successes. They also affirmed that such cooperation will positively contribute to achieving ambitious goals to serve and benefit the largest segment of students, starting with the opportunities that the University offers as a result of expanding its educational programs.

During the meeting, the three parties discussed means of disseminating and introducing new short-term executive programs specialized in AI and cybersecurity to help students advance their professional careers.

The US-based Westcliff University digitally delivers its lectures in an interactive method using modern and flexible electronic systems. It is distinguished by the fact that its certificates are internationally accredited by different accreditation and quality bodies, such as the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
