Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Meets With a Group of Students Entitled to Benefit From the Scholarships he Assigned for All Palestinians
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has met with a group of students benefiting from the scholarships for Palestinian students that have been recently announced to obtain an accredited Master’s degree from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital University (TAG-DU).
The meeting was organized during the students’ visit to the University to sit for the Voxy English proficiency assessment test approved by TAG-DU as a prerequisite to register for the digital Master’s scholarship. The students thanked Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for the scholarship and expressed their gratitude for all his ongoing contributions to the Palestinians who are either under occupation or in refugee camps.
For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that student scholarships are only one of many other contributions provided by TAG.Global, and are part of its social corporate responsibility toward the Arab youth in general and the Palestinians in particular. He further emphasized that TAG.Global’s core support focuses on providing education for all Palestinians, due to the importance of education in developing and improving the performance of Palestinian institutions, and building a Palestinian generation that can safeguard its homeland and history.
It is worth mentioning that the TAG-DU continues to receive applications for the scholarships it provides to Palestinians to obtain a Master's degree accredited by the University digitally. Scholarships are offered in five specialized master degree programs including: Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Intellectual Property, and Supply Chain Management.
Requirements for winning a scholarship include that the student must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of good or higher in the bachelor's degree; and should be in the Palestinian occupied territories; or in Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon, or Syria; and have a certificate of the national examination of the English language or its equivalent.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital University (TAG-DU), established in 2018, offers several distance-learning Master’s degree programs through the free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which enables a large number of students to enroll in the best programs offered worldwide.
