Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center Signs MoU with 'Hello World Kids'

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-KC), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordan Hello World Kids (HWK), a company that teaches native coding to kids, that aims at cooperation in various fields

including training in the provision of several programs that serve business enterprises, as well as holding exams to award professional programming certificates to up-to-16-years old children.

The MoU was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, and Ms. Hanan Khader, founder & CEO of Hello World Kids, in the presence of Ms. Sana' Al Tal, TAG-KC regional manager, and representatives from both sides.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed the importance of coding and programming, which is considered the cornerstone of digital transformation, praising the HWK efforts in preparing a digital generation.

He further called for establishing a non-profit digital association for Future Programmers who have successfully obtained programming-related certifications in order to qualify  holders of such certificates for membership in the association. 

For her part, Ms. Khader expressed herpride in cooperation with TAG.Global; the HWK’s first supporter since 2015, affirming her commitment in working with TAG.Global to achieve the same visions on teaching coding and programming to talented individuals.

She also indicated that Hello World Kids aims to teach native coding to kids and to select the talented ones, adding that cooperation with TAG.Global will be focusing on conducting international exams, for 8 to 16 years old age groups. This would positively encourage children to obtain a professional coding certificate and help them network with relevant stakeholders in investing in this category of children, to make sure they keep getting an education.

According to this agreement the two sides will also cooperate in organizing and holding training programs on business solutions such as capacity building for companies, creativity and innovation. That is in addition to conducting courses in communication skills and time management, negotiation skills, presentation skills, leadership skills and team building, body language, emotional intelligence, mobile applications and artificial intelligence.
