To activate previously-signed agreement with Lebanese government: Abu-Ghazaleh and Lebanon’s Minister of State for Administrative Reform Discuss Means of Cooperation on Digital Transformation
BEIRUT – Lebanon’s Minister of State for Administrative Reform, HE Ms. Najla Riachi, has received in her office HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), and his accompanying delegation to discuss the mechanism of activating the previously-signed agreement between TAG.Global and Lebanon’s Council of Ministers in the field of digital transformation.
During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in cooperating with the Council of Ministers and the Lebanese government in implementing the digital transformation and fighting digital illiteracy plan, calling for implementing such an ambitious plan in all sectors in the country.
Regarding the economic crisis that Lebanon is facing, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that Lebanon’s recovery from all crises will be through innovation, food and medicine self-sufficiency, and by implementing the digital transformation plan.
During the meeting, that was attended by the President of the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon (PCA), Mr. Camille Moukarzel, General Coordinator of the Digital Transformation and Governance Network, Dr. Nadim Mansouri, and MENA EdTech Alliance President, Dr. Rabie Baalbaki, Minister Riachi affirmed the importance of activating the digital illiteracy agreement for public sector employees in the country, especially since the government launched the national 10-year Digital Transformation Strategy last month.
Ms. Riachi, expressed the Ministry’s pride in collaborating with TAG.Global which is known for its high potentials and outstanding expertise that would positively benefit Lebanon in areas of digital transformation and e-services.
