Under the patronage of Christophoros Atallah, Jordan’s Greek Orthodox Archbishop Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station Inaugurated at Greek Orthodox Archbishop School in Karak

KARAK – Under the patronage of His Eminence Christophoros Atallah, Jordan’s Greek Orthodox Archbishop, and in the presence of HE Ms. Haifa Al Najjar, minister of Culture, a “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station” was inaugurated at the Greek Patriarchate Orthodox School, at Al Rawdah, north of Karak. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of Karak, Mr. Mohammad Al Fayez, the two Karak province parliament representatives: HE Ayman Madanat and HE Salem Al-Dmour, in addition to a host of dignitaries, bishops, preachers and community members in the governorate. 

HE Archbishop Atallah expressed his gratitude  Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) for his constant support to education and schools through the establishment of high-tech equipped knowledge stations for the support of local community in the learning and education process.

For her part, Ms. Leen Madanat, general Manager of Greek Orthodox Patriarchate Schools in Jordan, underlined the importance of cooperation between TAG.Global and the Schools, noting that the new Station will offer a number of training programs and courses that build capacities of the youth in the city.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zaid Al Majali, executive director of TAG.Global Knowledge Stations stated that the inauguration of knowledge stations across the Kingdom responds to the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II in enhancing the cognitive abilities of the local community, sharpen their skills, through training, and develop their knowledge. 

The Station was equipped with all the needed technological tools including TAGITOP EDU devices, manufactured by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech). 

It is worth mentioning that establishing the Station is part of agreement previously signed between TAG.Global and the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate Schools in Jordan, which included the establishment of three knowledge stations at the Schools in Karak, Fuheis and Anjarah.
