‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum’, a Success Partner of ‘2022 Entro for Kids’ Contest

AMMAN – The ‘Entro for Kids’ contest has concluded its third edition in 2022; the contest that was organized by the Entro Gate Company with support and partnership of many entities, including Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF).

The Forum contributed to the assessment and the evaluation of the competing projects, and awarded prizes, including five (TAGITOP) laptops to the winning teams to help them develop their projects.

 The contest which  included the participation of 12-17 years old students from public and private schools, aims to provide the youth with entrepreneurial skills and innovation tools at an early age and to achieve the goals of creating a generation that embraces entrepreneurship and creativity instead of a job-based path in the future.

As participants of schools from Egypt, Saudi Arabia as well as Jordan where the top ten winning teams, they will have the opportunity to develop their projects within the small Entrepreneur Incubator. 

During the contest, ten entrepreneurial projects were selected out of the 25 participating teams that reached the final stage. The participating teams competed to find solutions to different problems in education, health, culture and arts, tourism, transportation, environment and green technology sectors.

The contest has been supported by the Al Hussein Fund for Excellence (Edraak) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, TechWorks - one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, AlHussein Technical University, the Egypt-based Eduminds Consulting company. That is in addition to partners including Interact Labs, Al Shalati Bookstores, Mosaic and Wajeez companies.

The ‘Entro for Kids’ program was launched by the Entro Gate Company in 2018 with the support of TAG-KF. It is the first-of-its-kind program that targets students by giving them training and entrepreneurial skills for innovation and creativity.
