‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and Zaha Cultural Centers Launch ‘Preparing Youth for Labor Market’ Program

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his office Ms. Rania Sabih, director of Zaha Cultural Centers in Jordan, to discuss joint cooperation for supporting the youth and qualifying them to compete successfully in the labor market.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of empowering young people by sharpening their skills; especially local community members and fresh graduates, in the remote areas in the country. Towards this goal they agreed to launch a training program that aims at strengthening young people's skills in technological and digital fields.

For this reason, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh decided to provide a special free Internet line to all Zaha Centers throughout the Kingdom; as an initial gesture in implementing the cooperation programs.

Further, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed the important role of Zaha Centers; which is consistent with those of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Stations in serving the people in all Jordanian governorates. He confirmed that TAG.Global will continue to support the centers, with high-tech laptops manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech); to replace the old devices TAG.Global has previously provided, in order to enable the Centers to continue delivering their services to the local community. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, called for collaborating in building capacities through this program, noting that it would be prepared and developed through two specialized working groups from TAG.Global and Zaha centers to adopt it in accordance with a capacity-building guide, based on community studies of the needs of the local community for job opportunities and trainers. The program, he confirmed, will be presented by TAG.Global in partnership with Zaha Centers according to the selected areas of training. 

For her part, Ms. Sabih stated that the Zaha Cultural Center is specialized in providing programs, activities and services that motivate the young to be more creative and innovative. It also carries out several projects that serve children, in particular, and the society in general, through its centers spread  throughout the Kingdom.

Moreover, Ms. Sabih pointed out that the Center seeks to implement different tasks, such as providing cultural services that match different ages in order to build a conscious and educated generation. That is in addition to providing an appropriate and encouraging environment for innovation and invention through conducting scientific programs that help discover and develop young peoples' skills.
