Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Visits Jordanian Royal Medical Services, Praises Proficiency of their Staff
AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has visited the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS), where he was received by the JRMS Director General, Brig. Gen. Dr. Youssef Zureiqat.
Durint the visit, the two sides discussed means of cooperation between the Medical Services and TAG.Global, with the purpose of exchanging expertise in all possible fields between both sides. Dr. Abu Ghazaleh promised to offer unlimited support to JRMS.
They also reviewed a host of medical services of different specialties provided at the King Hussein Medical Center (KHMC), as well as the Jordan DNA Banking Project and the potentials of its applicability by the Royal Medical Services.
Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh praised the good reputation of the Royal Medical Services and the level of services in different areas provided to patients and the efficiency of their medical, nursing, and administrative cadres.
He also emphasized the importance of JRMS' role in providing the healthcare centers with qualified and trained specialists in all medical fields.
For his part, JRMS Director General, Dr. Zreiqat, stated that the Royal Medical Services’ branches, through their affiliate hospitals, comprehensive medical centers and specialized military hospitals, dispersed across the Kingdom professionally and proficiently, offer their services to patients wherever they are located.
During a tour to the various facilities at the King Hussein Medical Center, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the services and achievements of the Cardiovascular Clinic and the Queen Rania Hospital for Children.
Meanwhile, the two parties agreed on preparing a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in establishing a simulation and training room, connecting the RMS to the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), chaired by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, and the European Research Network, as well as other research and education networks around the world. They also agreed on cooperating in organizing workshops, training courses, and specialized conferences to underline the importance of the DNA (Genetic Maps Bank) Project, cooperate in other DNA Banking related topics and exchange expertise.
