Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Archbishop of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Jordan
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the Archbishop of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church of Petra and Philadelphia in Jordan, His Eminence Mr. Joseph Gébara, who was accompanied by a number of other eminent priests. The purpose of the visit was to to express the delegation’s recognition and appreciation of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh's voluntary contributions to various entities at the local and international levels.
Archbishop Gébara expressed his pride of, as well as his appreciation for Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s outstanding successes and his efforts especially those in serving the local community, youth, and refugees. He also highlighted the role of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in supporting the Christian communities in Jordan in different fields as part of his vision for a better world and as a message of love he is keen to spread.
For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh confirmed the importance of the message of love the Church espouses; as a doctrine and approach among nations, praising Archbishop Gébara and the accompanying delegation visit and their interest in the Organization’s role through which it consistently contributes to the dissemination of science and knowledge to develop societies and build states.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his wishes to all the country’s churches success in spreading messages of love and brotherhood among the people under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
During the visit, the two sides discussed means of cooperation in several areas including building capacities and training programs provided by TAG.Global, as well as serving young people at local communities, which contributes to empowering and qualifying them with the skills needed in the labor market.
