During the ‘International Innovation Dome Forum’ ‘Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation’ Honored for the Best Working Paper Presented in 2021
AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), represented by the University Dean, Dr. Naser Al-Nsor, received a certificate of honor for submitting the Best Working Paper in 2021, that was presented during the 3rd ‘International Innovation Dome for Sustainable Development’ Forum held last October in Amman.
The Paper outlines the most prominent TAG-Global’s accomplishments during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that the entire world has experienced; considering TAg-Global's adherence to digital transformation years before the outbreak of the pandemic, due to the nature of its work and services throughout its offices worldwide.
In the submitted Paper, Dr. Al-Nsor reviewed the mechanisms and fundamentals of digital transformation, and how TAG.Global successfully managed to transform its expertise in this field by establishing the ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital Transformation’ firm which aims at applying cutting-edge technology to assist companies to embrace digital transformation policies and plans, keep pace with the Knowledge World, and develop their capabilities to meet business requirements.
The Paper discussed several issues such as the digital transformation in education, the difference between traditional and innovative education, and how HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and founder of TAG.Global, applied his idea of innovative education through the establishment of TAGUCI: the University College which is specialized in applied business and information technology, and aims at graduating creative individuals who are capable of making a change in their specializations by providing the appropriate environment and modern learning methods, as well as empowering them to innovate, create and transform knowledge into marketable products.
Dr. Al-Nsor further pointed out that the University College has successfully, in a very short time, been included in the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework (NQF) which is a significant reference for developing academic programs. He referred to TAGUCI’s success in integrating e-education with traditional education, as well as in introducing new Masters Programs through qualified faculty members of distinguished university graduates and remarkable local and global partnerships.
It is worth mentioning that the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) is an independent educational institution accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions. It also received the membership of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).
