‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center’ Concludes Infection Control Diploma at Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Hospital for Children
AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station (an affiliate of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center, TAG-KC), at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (RMS) concluded the Infection Control Diploma organized for staff of Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Hospital for Children.
The Diploma comes as a part of the cooperation and the support provided by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) to the Jordanian Armed Forces.
During the 9-month Diploma, 19 participants: doctors, nurses and infection control officers attended lectures that covered all related- infection prevention and control topics at hospitals and medical sectors.
At the closing ceremony, held in the presence of Director General of Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Hospital for Children, Brigadier General Hussien Al Khreisha, and Mr. Zaid Al Majali, TAG-KC Executive Director, the importance of holding such a Diploma for its positive impact on the participants' productivity was emphasized.
Brig. Gen. Al Khreisha highlighted the urgent need for training and building capacities of medical cadres to meet all the challenges they often face, as well as to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the health sector, stressing the important role of the RMS in developing and capitalizing on capabilities of its cadres.
For his part, Al Majali expressed TAG.Global’s pride in cooperating with the Jordanian Armed Forces in the field of training, which is considered as high priority for Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, pointing to the importance of private sector institutions in assuming their corporate social responsibility, as well as, supporting training and development in various fields.
