Abu-Ghazaleh Calls for Joining ‘AHSAN’ Network to Empower Arab Youth for Sustainable Development

AMMAN – In partnership with the Global Challenges Forum Foundation (GCF) founded by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) in Switzerland ten years ago, and the Swiss – Jordanian Business Club (SJBC), the establishment of the ‘Arab Hope and Social Advancement Network – AHSAN’ - a trust fund to promote Arab youth empowerment for Sustainable Development – has been recently announced 

The GCF co-founders, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and Dr. Walter Christman welcomed the invitation launched by the Amman Declaration for the establishment of a trust fund to support the participation of Arab youth in social business enterprises which will mainly focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for community development. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh called on all like-minded individuals and organizations who pursue the same goals to join the exploratory committee for the establishment of ‘AHSAN Trust Fund’ as a social value investment that enhances tolerance and builds society's capacity to deal with crises.

Moreover, the Network will focus its attention on various topics such as building community crisis management, information and communication technology for development, empowerment of youth and women, research initiatives on leadership education for Arab development and sustainability. 

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Hope and Social Advancement Network – AHSAN’ will be headquartered in Amman – Jordan to implement initiatives funded by Corporate Social Responsibility with a view of strengthening the effective participation of the Arab youth in promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.
