‘Abu-Ghazaleh University College’ and Oman’s Ambassador to Jordan Discuss Means of Cooperation

AMMAN –- The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Jordan, HE Sheikh Hilal Marhoon Al-Ma’amari, visited Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), where he was welcomed by the Dean,of the college  Dr. Naser Al-Nsor and a host of faculty and administration members. 

During the visit the two parties discussed several education and innovation issues, including building capacities and the academic programs offered by the University College. 

The Ambassador reviewed the most significant and remarkable development the Sultanate of Oman achieved in knowledge, modern technology, and in creating renewable energy storage solutions, calling for strengthening cooperation between TAGUCI and the relevant Omani institutions, in innovation and creativity fields in particular, in addition to the accreditation of TAGUCI’s certificates in the Sultanate. 

He also stressed the importance of academic and student exchange between the Omani universities and the University College; in accordance with the established procedures of the two countries. 

For his part, Al-Nsor expressed his pride in the Ambassador’s visit praising the vision of the Sultanate of Oman regarding  education,. He affirmed  that the Sultanate relentlessly seeks to provide high-quality  varied education integrated with technology, to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and skills sharpening. He further hailed the achievements of the Sultanate in technology, scientific research and development. 

He also praised the Oman Vision 2040 whose launch was endorsed by His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Al Said in the field of education to provide high-quality, equitable, and inclusive education for all in accordance with the highest standards of governance and competitiveness. 

Additionally, Al-Nsor stated that TAGUCI strives for motivating its students to innovate by creating the  appropriate environment that enables them to innovate and invent. He added that the University College has recently received the accreditation membership provided by the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the accreditation of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) in Germany. 

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) is an independent educational institution accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, specialized in applied business and information technology.
