Palestinian Students Receive a Surprise Question on the Life of Abu-Ghazaleh in their English Exam

RAMALLAH- In recognition of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh's unmatched support for Palestine and its students, the Ministry of Education decided to add one question to the English exam paper about the life of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, his endless support to Palestine; education in particular.

The 70,000 high school (tawjihi) students will be required to answer all questions including the occupations Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh took when he was young, the educational institutions he established, in addition to the many other projects of his such as the All for Palestine initiative.

Upon hearing the news, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride of all Palestinian students for their handling of the severe challenges they face on daily basis and yet they managed to fulfill their dreams and excel in their life to become famous doctors, engineers, poets…etc.

The famous All for Palestine initiative which was launched in 2010 aims to highlight Palestinian creativity across the world as well as promote and support Palestinian achievements in various fields and areas. It reflects the originality and the creativity of Palestinians in Diaspora. It is also recognized as a reliable source for those who aspire to provide a prosperous future for their Palestinian families.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is widely known as a philanthropic businessman at the leading edge of change. His initiatives in the educational field witnessed no boundaries with his establishments of several educational institutions such as Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation, the E-training Center in Gaza which provides the youth with electronic knowledge skills and the electronic Jerusalem market that supports Arab Palestinians in Jerusalem.

A proud refugee himself, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh has always stressed that suffering is a blessing, thus encouraging Palestinian students to follow their dreams anytime and anywhere.

His book " Blankets becomes Jackets", is an inspiration to all those who read it as it includes many of the historical turns and events in the life of  this proud refugee, and the book describes the obstacles and the victories that occurred as a result of forced migration from Palestine in 1948. The book also includes personal stories from his life such as the significant moment his mother made a jacket for him out of the refugee blanket.

Adopted by many schools, the 'Talal Ibn Adeebeh' children story which talks about the early life of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is approved by the Ministry of Education to be available and displayed at all public and private school libraries.
