Abu-Ghazaleh and Ambassador of Sri Lanka Discuss Various Means of Cooperation.

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has recently received HE Ms. Shanika Dissanayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Jordan. During the meeting bilateral cooperation to boost the business sectors in Sri Lanka and Jordan were throughly discussed.

The two parties also discussed the prospects of joint cooperation through the newly established Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technologies (TAGTech) factory, at Madaba Industrial Estate in Jordan. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh briefed the Ambassador on TAGTech mission and objectives stating that it aims at designing and manufacturing technical smart devices at high-level specs. He welcomed  the potential of cooperation with Sri Lanka by benefiting from Sri Lankan expertise and manufacturing supplies.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also briefed the Ambassador on the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), a distinguished educational institution that is exclusively based on graduating creative and innovative generations; expressing his willingness to cooperate with Sri Lankan educational institutes and to exchange students between both sides.  

For her part, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, Ms. Dissanayake affirmed the keenness of the Government of Sri Lanka to strengthen economic and cultural relations with Jordan through cooperation with TAG.Global by exchanging expertise in various professional and business fields.

TAG.Global had inaugurated its office in Sri Lanka in 2017 with the aim of providing the Sri Lankan market with professional services including Intellectual Property Rights protection as well as assisting the private and public institutions in the fields of building capacities, developing educational methods and consulting services. TAG.Global office in Sri Lanka operates through a number of Sri Lankan experts especially in the field of accounting,  as Sri Lanka is considered one of the developed countries in this field and is widely recognized for its qualified accountants and quality experts.
