Pearson Conducts Workshop for TAGIUNI Staff

AMMAN----December 2, 2012------Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) hosted Mr. Peter Bowyer, representative of the global education powerhouse Pearson who was introduced to the Procedures and standards of training programs conducted by the Organization in addition to the facilities and programs offered by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGIUNI), The People’s Gateway to the World’s Best Education.
Mr. Bowyer's visit comes as part of the signed agreement between TAGIUNI and Pearson and as a follow up to the meetings with representatives of Edexcel.
The visit also included a two-day workshop for TAG-Org's staff and outsource trainers which covered the BTEC-accredited training program, its content and standards.
Under the agreement, the world’s largest education company, Pearson, will provide TAGIUNI with programs from its internationally acclaimed suite of Edexcel qualifications, some of which will be delivered online through the University’s state of the art e-learning system. All short courses offered by TAG-Org and its franchised and partner companies and affiliated entities, will also be accredited to receive Edexcel Assured Status – a global mark of quality assurance. Edexcel is part of the Pearson family and is the United Kingdom’s largest provider of professional qualifications, including the renowned BTEC programs.
