TAG-Org Participates in Beirut 56th Annual International Arab Book Fair 2012

BEIRUT---December 12, 2012------Talal Abu- Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) took part in Beirut 56th Annual International Arab Book Fair 2012 which was held under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister HE Mr. Najib Miqati and held at Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center (BIEL).

The book fair is organized by the Lebanese Publisher's Union with the participation of various publishing houses from around the world and attended by a host of dignitaries, Ambassadors and businessmen.

Mr. Waref  Kumayha, executive director at TAG-Org Lebanon Office said:" We are really happy to be part of such an international event in which we have displayed part of our publications which included various dictionaries in addition to other specialized publications. We thank Lebanese Prime Minister HE Mr. Najib Miqati for visiting TAG-Org's booth and highlighting the Group's effort in the field of publications."

Among TAG-Org’s publications which were displayed at the Fair is the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information and Communication Technology (TAG ICT) Dictionary, an English-Arabic publication of about 6,500 ICT terms. It was produced to serve various goals, one of which is meeting the needs of ICT specialists and students in universities, colleges and vocational institutions by providing necessary explanations for various terms rather than merely equivalent meanings or synonyms.

In addition, other publications included the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) – International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Handbook of International Standards on Auditing and Quality Control, International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs), Handbook of International Quality Control, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance, and Related Services Pronouncements.
