‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center’ Participates in ‘Fresh Graduates Conference’ at Engineers Syndicate in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-KC), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has participated in the first Introductory Conference for young graduates at the Engineers Syndicate - Alexandria (ESA) under the title "The Syndicate and its Role in Serving the Engineers."

The Conference which was chaired by Dr. Hisham Saudi, Vice president of Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, Head of Alexandria Engineers Syndicate, and Eng. Muhammad Qubaisi, head of the Association’s Youth Committee, was held in the presence of a group of fresh young graduates from various engineering majors. The conference aims at introducing fresh engineers and their families to the Syndicate’s role and services.

Eng. Lubna Ghanem, representative of TAG.Global in Alexandria, gave a brief on the vision, mission, and objectives of TAG-KC in Alexandria, in addition to the training services and events organized by the Center to the engineers' community and their families in particular and the community in Alexandria in general.

She pointed out that TAG-KC is one of the Arab entrepreneurial initiatives carried out by TAG.Global that primarily aims at serving students, youth, graduates and members of the local community. This is conducted by raising their awareness, organizing and holding training and capacity-building courses to successfully meet labor market needs and requirements, especially in the field of development, innovation, and entrepreneurship using the latest ICT tools and means and presented by the best experts and specialists, she explained.

During the Conference, TAG-KC presented two seminars for the graduates; the first session entitled (Life after Graduation … Between Reality and Hopes) delivered by Dr. Jaida Makki, Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neuropsychiatry at Alexandria University. the second was held under the theme (How to Pass a Job Interview, and Best Methods of Writing a Professional Resume), presented by Dr. Sherif Metwally, a certified trainer from the United Nations in the field of youth entrepreneurship training programs.

On the sidelines of the Conference, Dr. Saudi awarded TAG-KC in Alexandria with an appreciation certificate in recognition of its role in the conference and its effective efforts in society.

He expressed his deep gratitude to HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, and the services he offers for the development of the Arab societies, not to overlook his prominent role in enhancing digital transformation to the public works system. 

Dr. Saudi also referred to a personal meeting with Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh on the sidelines of his participation in the 2nd Engineering Consultancy Conference recently organized in Amman – Jordan, referring to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s directives on the importance of intensifying meetings and conferences that address digitalization related issues in order to accelerate the processes of digital transformation at the Arab region level.
