The first-of-its-kind ‘Abu-Ghazaleh-Academy’ Organizes ‘Digital Accounting’ Training Program

AMMAN – For the first time Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy for Capacity Building (TAG-Academy), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), digitally organized  a new training program on ‘Digital Accounting,’ as part of its efforts to develop the capacities of the Arab individuals, promote their professional skills and keep pace with the technological and digital advancement to serve the community’s benefit and demand.

The program aims to create, represent and transfer financial data electronically through cloud computing instead of using papers, or standard accounting programs. Thus all accounting transactions will be recorded in an electronic environment.

Further, the program introduces participants to the ways of using cloud-based accounting solutions to be integrated with other business applications. It also reviews what cloud accounting systems are and the available cloud-based solutions and compare their results. That is in addition to mobile phone digital accounting, cloud-based accounting features, and the easy access at any time on any device of the digital financial accounting system, reports, dashboards, online invoices, billing portals, expense tracking, as well as digital auditing which relies on Computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs).

The 15-hour training program is characterized by its ability to demonstrate the relationship of digital accounting to the available cloud-based Digital Accounting Systems, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Blockchain.
