Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Oman’s Ambassador to Jordan

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Jordan, HE Sheikh Hilal Marhoon Al-Ma’amari, to discuss issues of mutual interest mainly in the fields of innovation, renewable energy and capacity building. 

During the meeting, the Ambassador reviewed some of the most significant achievements the Sultanate in the fields of modern technology and knowledge, as well as renewable energy storage solutions. 

Al-Ma’amari expressed his readiness to discuss cooperation between TAG.Global and the Omani relevant institutions to establish a Business Incubator in Oman aimed at providing support to innovators and help them develop and invest in their innovations and creativity, in addition to establishing a branch for Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) in Muscat, and a factory affiliated to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology, a member of TAG.Global, to manufacture technological devices including laptops, tablets and smartphones.   

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his happiness at the visit of Oman’s Ambassador to TAG.Global premises, commending the deep and distinguished ties between the two countries.

Furthermore, He highly praised the advanced level the Sultanate in the use of technology, scientific research and development, expressing his  pride in cooperation between TAG.Global and Omani organizations. 

Referring to the establishment of innovation incubators, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed, “The establishment of an environment that stimulates creativity would positively contribute to creating innovators and creators, taking into consideration that the greatest innovators in the world had a suitable environment for innovation. Therefore, it is crucial today to provide such an environment for the youth to encourage their creativity and innovation.”

Abu-Ghazaleh concluded the meeting by commending Oman and its interest in establishing a factory for manufacturing technological products, noting that TAG.Global established a factory in Egypt for the production of laptops, tablets and smartphones characterized by their high quality specifications and competitiveness.
