Abu-Ghazaleh Commends UNESCO’s Efforts in Development of Effective Teaching in the Arab Countries
AMMAN - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, and a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) firms, took part in a digital workshop entitled: “The Reality of Teaching Science and Mathematics in the Arab Countries and Methods of Development,” organized by the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE) – UNESCO.
During the workshop, inaugurated by Her Highness Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al Muqrin, permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the outputs of a scientific research conducted under the supervision of UNESCO Center were reviewed.
The study aims at providing developmental and forward-looking insights into teaching science and mathematics curriculums in the Arab countries by identifying the reality of teaching the two subjects at primary and intermediate school levels in the targeted Arab states, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Lebanon, in addition to the approved reference countries including Finland, England, the Republic of Singapore and the United States of America.
The workshop was attended by representatives of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital Academy, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy for Capacity Building and the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA), chaired by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, along with elite researchers, academics and experts in education and its quality.
