Abu-Ghazaleh Addresses the 1st Batch of the American University of Malta

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), addressed, in a recorded message, the first group of graduates of the American University of Malta (AUM), congratulating them on their academic accomplishment. 

In his message, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his great appreciation for the  AUM, which he served on its Board of Trustees and had the honor to meet with the University’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Royal Highness Prince Jean de Nassau of Luxembourg.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highly praised the Founder and Vice-Chair of the  AUM Board of Trustees, Dr. Hani Salah, for his remarkable career and great success, pointing out that Dr. Salah is fully commitment to education as he founded the University based on his social responsibility, maintaining the highest standard of its, and its graduates’ excellence. 

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his thanks to all AUM faculty members for their positive academic contributions and their efforts in graduating distinguished students. “Life, in general, is a constant learning process from birth to death he said, adding, “In the first stage, a student learns academic lessons and sits for exams. In the second stage after graduation, he will experience the harsh conditions, the difficult challenges of real life  from which he will  learn practical lessons. Thus, the third stage will witness the maturity of his qualified experience. ” he added. 

In addition, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HE Ms. Irina Bokova, the guest of honor and honorary speaker at the graduation ceremony in her capacity as the former Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), saying: “I have worked together with her during my chairmanship of many taskforces at the United Nations, especially when I chaired the UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development, where I had the privilege to work with her on developing education through information and communication technology, as well as to assist in developing humankind as a whole.”
