‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ Inaugurates Knowledge Station at Egyptian Engineers Syndicate in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA - The Egyptian Engineers Syndicate (EES) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) inaugurated the first TAG.Global knowledge center in Egypt at the Engineers Club in Alexandria, in the presence of Dr. Hisham Saudi, head of EES in Alexandria, and Ms. Samar AlLabbad, TAG.Global Deputy Chair in Egypt, representing HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global.

The establishment of the knowledge center, which builds on the previously signed agreement between the two parties, would serve as  a training and examination center for the benefit of ESS members and their families.

In a recorded keynote address, during the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in cooperation with the Syndicate for its advanced technology capabilities, praising its role in supporting the community of Alexandria in order to strengthen Egypt’s plans in developing education in accordance with international standards.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred  to the role and mission of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS) in serving students, graduates and local community through awareness workshops, training courses and building capacities to qualify them to meet the requirements of the labor market, especially in the field of development, innovation and entrepreneurship.

For his part, Dr. Saudi stated that the Syndicate strives to promote the engineers’ scientific, professional and knowledge capabilities, and to develop the services offered to them and their families; in addition to providing them with their necessary needs in accordance with the Syndicate’s corporate social responsibility mission.

Saudi expressed the Syndicate’s pride in collaborating with TAG.Global, and he highly commended its vast expertise and professional services in different fields.

He also expressed gratitude to Ms. AlLabbad for all sorts of support provided to the Syndicate, underlining his aspiration for further partnerships with TAG.Global’s member firms to achieve the Syndicate’s goals in sharpening skills of youth and society in different areas.

Accordingly, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed TAG.Global’s readiness to offer any required assistance and support.

Dr. Saudi presented an honorary shield to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, via Ms. AlLabbad, in recognition of his efforts in the field of knowledge development.

It should be noted that TAG.Global equipped the knowledge center with the necessary tools to facilitate the training process including TAGITOP devices, furniture and a training plan. The two parties will cooperate in different training areas including building capacities, English language, software solutions and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, in addition to promoting awareness on the importance of protecting Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), trademarks, patents and other services relating to e-archiving. 

The inauguration was held in the presence of representatives from the two parties, including Maj. Gen. Eng. Sami Darwish, EES Board Member and Head of the Strategic Plan for Resource Development and the Secretary of the Engineers Club, Dr. Mustafa Al-Hadari, Chairman of the Engineering Sciences and Training Committee and member of the Council of Engineers’ Club, and Eng. Amina Hasan, Executive Supervisor of the Center and member of the Club Council.

Representatives of TAG.Global to the ceremony included, Ms. Lubna Ghanem, representative of TAG.Global in Alexandria, Mr. Ahmed Fathy, IT and Development Manager at TAG.Global, and Mr. Mohammad Alaa, assistant director of Society Training Affairs.
