‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Organizes Leadership Skills Training Courses in Syria

DAMASCUS – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), through its office in Syria, organized a training course on ‘Leadership Skills’ for management staff of some private universities in the country to provide them with the necessary skills to develop their  work performance. 

The 20-hour training course introduced participants to the ways and mechanisms of motivating staff by identifying the types of their individual personalities, building trust in the workplace between managers and staff, improving ways of assessing the employees’ performance and linking their skills to their professional tasks and assignments. That is in addition to providing managers with appropriate leadership techniques in an effective manner and how to perfectly manage meetings. 

The course also addressed the leadership topic, addressing various aspects relating to the personality, the psychological traits and behaviors of at the leader. It also included an introduction to the employees’ role, and how to positively motivate, engage and influence them, to eventually become team leaders.

According to the Training Department at TAG.Global Damascus Office, the course was organized as part of a comprehensive set of training courses offered by TAG.Global in the fields of management, accounting, small enterprises and entrepreneurship, in addition to other fields of expertise that aim to develop and build individual capacities.

Moreover, the launch of these training courses comes as an implementation of TAG.Global’s approach, in line with the vision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, in providing professional training services to improve human resource competencies in accordance with the highest levels.

At the end of the course, presented by professional management trainer of local and international non-government organizations (NGOs), Mr. Waseem Muselli, certificates were given to participants, who responded by expressing their gratitude for the significant and useful information and knowledge they acquired during the program. The called for holding more similar courses that boost their careers and improve their professional capacities.
