‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Concludes Occupational Safety and Health Program for its Employees in Cairo
CAIRO – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) concluded the 'Occupational Safety and Health Committee Members' program held for TAG.Global’s employees in Cairo office.
The program was organized at TAG.Global’s headquarters in the Smart Village Campus – Cairo, jointly between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy (TAG-Academy) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety, and Health and Work Environment Insurance (NIOSH).
The four-day program tackled several topics presented by specialized lecturers from the Institute including: safety objectives and legislation, chemical mechanical and electrical hazards, occupational diseases, first aid and firefighting.
TAG.Global Training Assistant Manager in Cairo Office, Mr. Mohammed Alaadeen, expressed the pride of TAG.Global in cooperating with the Institute due to the importance of such courses for TAG.Global’s staff in particular, and the Egyptian local community in general, pointing out that the program was organized as part of TAG.Global’s policy in developing the occupational and practical skills of its employees; and it also falls in line with the vision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global.
NIOSH Representative and Program Coordinator, Mr. Sherif Salama, pointed out that the Institute always seeks to support and cooperate with various institutions to provide safe work environment. He also expressed his pride in collaborating with TAG.Global which constantly takes the initiative to provide a safe work environment and protect its employeesHe further noted that the Institute, in light of the ever-growing use of technology, strives to maintain a safe work environment to reduce and control workplace hazards associated with the use of such technology in various fields.

National Center for Occupational Safety and Health and Work Environment Insurance
The National Center for Occupational Safety and Health and Work Environment Insurance was established in 1969, under the name ‘The National Institute for Industrial Security Studies’. In 2003 the Institute was renamed to become ‘The National Center for Occupational Safety and Health and Work Environment Insurance’.
