Abu-Ghazaleh and Ambassador of Sri Lanka Discuss Means of Cooperation
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office HE Ms. Shanika Dissanayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Jordan to discuss means of varied cooperation between the two parties with the aim of serving and developing both countries economies.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation including support in Sri Lanka of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a member of TAG.Global that designs and manufactures technological devices including laptops, tablets and smartphones, considering that Sri Lanka has a large market and a large economy.
The two parties also discussed opportunities for joint cooperation through a TAGTech factory by combining Jordanian and Sri Lankan expertise.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out that the establishment of TAGTech factory aims to design, manufacture and produce technological devices at high-specs, calling for further cooperation with Sri Lanka in terms of exchanging expertise and manufacturing supplies.
For her part, Ambassador Dissanayake said that the: ‘government of Sri Lanka is keen to develop its economic and cultural relations with Jordan through collaborating with TAG.Global especially in the field of exchanging expertise in various educational, professional and economic areas.”
TAG.Global inaugurated its office in Sri Lanka in 2017 with the aim of providing the Sri Lankan market with professional services including Intellectual Property Rights protection as well as assisting private and public institutions in the fields of building capacities, developing educational methods and consulting services.
