TAG-Confucius Student Wins “Best Individual Award of Creativity" in China

BEIJING-----December 11, 2012-------Amer Al Nasser, a student at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the official testing center for China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) has won the “Best Individual Award of Creativity” part of the “Chinese Bridge” Competition.

The Award, one of the five big individual recognitions was presented as part of the Chinese-Bridge Competition which is held every year by the Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing.

Mr. Tareq Hammad, TAG- Confucius executive director expressed his gratitude to the students who took part in the competition saying:"We are really proud of our student, the effort and excellent job they did. This is really a great day for TAG- Confucius and the staff who work hard to provide students with the knowledge they need."

Meanwhile, TAG-Confucius teacher Ms. Shang Wei said “The contestants behaved quite well through the keen competitions. Of course with more time spending on the learning of the language, they will achieve more and better results in the future.”
 
In May, several students representing TAG-Confucius participated in the Preliminary Chinese Competition in Jordan held by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and won the first places and were selected to go to China to compete with other Confucius competitors from all over the world.
