TAGIPEDIA Continues Verification of its Content to be Launched

AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh announced that content verification of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Electronic Arabic Encyclopedia (TAGEPEDIA), one of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) projects, is in the final stage paving the way for its launch, noting that it contains in excess of 1.2 million entries.

TAGEPEDIA covers a variety of areas including science, literature, economy, arts, sports, culture, knowledge-based fields relating to business and professional services, Intellectual Property Rights, media, accounting, financial administration, consulting, translation, law, banking activities, professional training, as well as information technology consulting, and any other relevant fields in the area of scientific and professional knowledge.

Attributed to the significance of the encyclopedia and the personal interest of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in launching TAGEPEDIA with the most accurate content and keeping abreast with the various development and knowledge search mechanisms, TAG-Org experts continuously update TAGEPEDIA’s work process. Accordingly, TAG-Org IT experts introduced a Dictionary that incorporates the most important vocabularies and terminology with a classification system designed to facilitate the search process and which is accessible through smartphones.

The Dictionary which lists entries in alphabetical order includes more than 3000 terms with detailed explanation and simple examples.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh concluded that TAGEPEDIA contains 3500 classifications, the main classifications include five main fields covering Literature, Education and Art, Pure Science, Human Science, Applied Science, in addition to sub classifications, adding that the Classification System offers searchers and users of the encyclopedia two methodologies to make their search much easier.
