Jordan Youth Business Forum Hosts Abu-Ghazaleh in a Panel Session

AMMAN – Jordan Youth Business Forum hosted HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in a panel session to discuss the challenges faced by youth in the world of business.

The Forum grants youth the opportunity to communicate and interact directly with national economic personalities to gain from their expertise while learning about the hardships they overcame to achieve success in the world of business, in a mechanism to empower young entrepreneurs, enabling them to become the cornerstone of national economic development.

During the session, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh briefed the attendees on the most important events in his life, pointing out that determination and dedication are the factors of success which led Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) to become the  largest global firm worldwide in various fields.

He also indicated that solving the problems of the national economy and increasing wealth and resources while at the same time creating a society free of violence, drugs and negative phenomena, could only be achieved through creativity and innovation, pointing out that a healthy addiction is the addition to the Internet, to invention, to knowledge and to innovation.

Meanwhile, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred to his recently issued book entitled “The Brave Knowledge World” which  presents the statement of his absolute belief in the power of knowledge and technology that will lead to “a glowing” future. Knowledge, which is available on the Internet, according to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, provides democratic and equal opportunities for all.

His Excellency affirmed that education should adapt to the future and rapid development in the field of creativity and innovation, noting that a knowledge based society is a society in which everything is operated by an Internet-connected computer.

 “We have to pave the way for future students and shift from education to learning. We have to introduce educational means that meet their capacities particularly since we are embracing the Age of Knowledge in which a child can use ICT,” he said.

According to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Knowledge Revolution, will wipe out those who have not been able to cope with the rapid progress in technology. Smart Education and Artificial Intelligence will not only make things smarter but will make some people better physically and mentally.

For his part, Head of Jordan Youth Business Forum, Eng. Oday Al-Sharbaji, underlined the significant role of the youth in economic and social fields urging them to always take the initiative and not to wait for support from anyone.

Al-Sharbaji added that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is a great personality who achieved success by overcoming challenges to become a global prominent dignitary today, who has great impact in various fields.

Jordan Business Youth Forum was established in 2017, with the aim to create an appropriate environment that grants young people the opportunity to directly communicate with businessmen, national and public figures that have had an impact on boosting the national economy.

At the end of the session, participants expressed their appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his interest in sharing his life’s expertise and the inspiring life lessons with them. They highlighted the leading efforts in the world of business and finance exerted by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh globally, in the face of difficulties and challenges he experienced.
