AGIP’s National Business Development Executive Director Receives INTA Volunteer Service Award 2018

NEW ORLEANS – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) is proud to announce that its National Business Development Executive Director, Mr. Motasem Abu-Ghazaleh, has been named one of just six winners of the annual Volunteer Service Award for the Advancement of Trademark Law granted by the International Trademark Association (INTA), at the Association’s Leadership Meeting held in New Orleans, USA.

INTA’s Volunteer Service Award for the Advancement of Trademark Law is presented annually to the most distinguished INTA volunteers for their extraordinary contributions to trademarks and intellectual property protection and advancement, and whose contribution has advanced INTA’s mission and had a lasting impact on the Association.

Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh received the Volunteer Service Award for his exemplary volunteer service and dedicated efforts as co-chair of the INTA’s Middle East Global Advisory Council. Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh was the motivation force to this council with his enthusiasm and dedication to the profession of intellectual property law.

“I am really honored to be the recipient of the Advancement of Trademark Law Award, as this is the first time this award goes to someone from the Arab world. This appreciation proves the trust INTA bestows upon AGIP, which represents a motivation for us to maintain the high quality of our work, and keep the world updated with trademark laws and practices in the Middle East region and around the world,” said Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh.
