AMMAN - During his meeting with students of the International School of Choueifat - Amman, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh stated that education is a powerful tool that has the potential to transform and drive entire nations towards economic prosperity.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out numerous worldwide examples of prosperous knowledge-based economies, highlighting the fact that access to quality education remains a constant global challenge even though  education is considered to be a fundamental human right.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the significance of introducing educational reforms and integrating ICT into the educational process, adding that educational reform is the starting point of development saying “We have to admit that the lack of quality education is the foundation and the reason for “ what we suffer in Jordan.

His Excellency affirmed that education should adapt to the future and rapid development in the field of creativity and innovation, noting that a knowledge based society is a society in which everything is operated by an Internet-connected computer.

We have to pave the way for future students and think of "educational means that meet their capacities particularly since we are entering the age of knowledge in which a child can use ICT,” he said.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh proclaimed that all future professions would be based on ICT; therefore, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) is in the process of establishing 'Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Applied Business and IT' which will open its doors to students in the near future.
