PACPA Appreciates the Efforts of Abu-Ghazaleh in Supporting its Accession to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)

  The Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants (PACPA) commended the significant efforts made by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the International Arab Society of Certified Public Accountants (IASCA) in supporting PACPA’s application for membership of IFAC
 
RAMALLAH ------13 November 2013 --------- The Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants (PACPA) commended the significant efforts made by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the International Arab Society of Certified Public Accountants (IASCA) in supporting PACPA’s application for membership of IFAC, as the Board of IFAC recommended to the general assembly to accept the membership application of PACPA in IFAC.
 
Mr. Mohammad Akram Hassouna, Chairman of the Board of PACPA, stated in a letter to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh that this was achieved thanks to God first, then by favor of Abu-Ghazaleh's efforts and recommendation for the acceptance of the Association’s application; and added, we are waiting for the annual meeting of the General Assembly mid-next-month in Seoul – South Korea to obtain full membership.
 
Mr. Hassouna, personally and on behalf of the Board, the General Assembly, administration and all colleagues and members, was thankful for supporting the application to join IFAC. He also thanked IASCA, which operates under your leadership and guidance, as well as the Office of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization in Ramallah, hoping that this support continues to achieve the goal of obtaining full membership, as well as promoting the profession of accounting and auditing in Palestine due to its significant impact on building the national economy for the benefit and service of the profession and the nation.
