IASCA and AZ International Sign Cooperation Agreement

 
According to the agreement, IASCA will provide AZ International with specialized publications in the field of professional programs issued by IASCA in all Arab countries
 
AMMAN------ August 6, 2012------- The International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) signed a cooperation agreement with AZ International in Jordan in the field of specialized publications.
 
According to the agreement, IASCA will provide AZ International with specialized publications in the field of professional programs issued by IASCA in all Arab countries such as the updated versions of the “Arab Certified Public Accountant” curriculum as well as the curricula of other certificates issued by IASCA to utilize the same in the training courses held by AZ International in various Arab countries in the field of professional certificates and programs issued by IASCA.
 
The agreement was signed by Mr. Salem Al Ouri, IASCA Manager, and Mr. Iyad Takrouri, Director General of AZ International for Professional Consulting.
 
This agreement was signed to strengthen the cooperation between IASCA and AZ International in Jordan in conformity with one of IASCA’s objectives and that is to advance the profession of accountancy, auditing and other related fields by organizing conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses and academic gatherings, and by cooperating with institutions, bodies, companies and other societies with joint objectives in order to realize the said purposes.
 
The International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) was established on January 12, 1984 as a non-profit professional accounting association in London, UK. It was formally registered in Amman on February 24, 1994. IASCA aims at maintaining the professional independence of Arab accountants and their protection, as well as the application of professional supervisory measures as a way to elevate the professions of accounting and auditing. IACPA qualification has been accredited in several Arab countries; including Lebanon, UAE, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Qatar, Sudan, Libya and Oman, where IASCA is one of the professional accredited associations for auditing. In addition, IASCA is a member of several international professional bodies, including the International Accounting Standards Board, the International Federation of Accountants and the International Committee for Accounting Education and Research.
